Civic & Voter Engagement
The City of Pittsburgh’s Registered Community Organization Program was created in 2019 with the intent to: foster informed and inclusive participation from as many neighborhood stakeholders as possible in development processes; enhance cooperation and the flow of information between community organizations, stakeholders, City departments, and various development agencies; and empower community organizations to engage in civic affairs, improving neighborhood livability and character.
