The Midwife Center is the only freestanding, licensed birth center option in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We are licensed with the Pennsylvania Department of Health and are nationally accredited with the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers (CABC). Our Midwives and Nurse Practitioners take care of the reproductive health needs of individuals of all ages. The Midwife Center offers: annual gynecological exams; contraceptive counseling; STI screening and treatment; natural family planning and fertility awareness; family building services; preconception counseling appointments; pregnancy verifications; pregnancy options; perinatal support; etc.
