Violence Prevention

REACH is a violence prevention initiative that focuses on interrupting and reducing violence in our neighborhoods. We firmly believe that communities are the heartbeat of our city, and we work directly with Community Engagement Officers in order to identify threats, share relevant information, and prevent violent incidents from taking place. Outreach Workers are often part of the first contingent of responders to report to the scene of a crime and remain in the area to provide a sense of security to those involved.
