STOP THE VIOLENCE GRANTEES

Through consistent and personal education and support, Voices Against Violence aims to empower youth and reduce interpersonal conflict among members of underserved communities in South Pittsburgh. Our Priorities Voices Against Violence utilizes trust-based, grassroots approaches in order to: ✅ Increase graduation rates, Pittsburgh Promise readiness, self-advocacy skills, leadership and community awareness among at-risk high school youth, so that they can and will choose to engage in positive and productive behavior. ✅ Engage children and youth in the community with healthy, productive and meaningful activities during the summers. ✅ Provide support and opportunities for adults to find alternatives to violence in order to lead a healthy and productive life.
