Off the Floor strives to strengthen families and reduce the pain and indignity of extreme poverty in the greater Pittsburgh area by recycling and delivering gently used furniture free of charge to families in deepest need. Off the Floor supports individuals and families experiencing furniture poverty, including women and children leaving shelters, people transitioning from homelessness, and refugees to Pittsburgh. Individuals who are in a vulnerable position, including those on low income or new immigrants to Pittsburgh, may be eligible to receive furniture.
