We engage youth in this effort through the Junior Green Corps, a year-round job readiness program that works with high school students to build, install, and maintain green infrastructure projects. Created in 2010, the JGC lead outreach efforts to share information with Homewood community members on sustainable and safe environmental stewardship, engage in fun teambuilding activities, and develop professional skills in order to become future community leaders with the tools needed to engage and strengthen neighborhood relationships!
