Food Assistance

First Food and Friends is a participating member of the greater Pittsbrugh Community Food Bank. In 2011, First Food and Friends served an average of 171 meals to individuals in need every Saturday afternoon for a total of 8,000 meals. We are the only Saturday afternoon feeding program in the entire East End of Pittsburgh - serving the communities of Bloomfield, Lawrenceville, the Hill District, East Liberty, Friendship, Garfield, Morningside, Shadyside, and other surrounding neighborhoods.
