Position Summary: The CHD is a knowledgeable, trained and trusted opinion leader in their respective community serving as ambassadors for the COVID-19 vaccine trials, influenza vaccine and other health and wellness topics. An opinion leader is a trusted and influential community leader who is extremely knowledgeable about the needs and cultures of their community members and has a wide sphere of influence. The CHD will help builds trust and educate community members about the COVID-19 vaccine trials and other health and wellness topics. This is an outreach contract position that requires community canvassing of people in your network. The CHD is expected to participate in meetings, trainings and professional development workshops provided by the Neighborhood Resilience Project, Community Vaccine Collaborative (CVC) and others as needed.
