The Safe Haven Hotel (hotel) provides short term quarantine and isolation placement for adults who have had known exposure to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), those who are showing symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19, and other individuals who would be at high risk for complications if they develop COVID-19 based upon their chronic health conditions. This isolation and quarantine program is a partnership between Allegheny County Department of Human Services (ACDHS) and Community Human Services (CHS), in consultation with the Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) and community stakeholders. Individuals are referred by ACHD, ACDHS contracted providers, regional healthcare systems, and other approved partners. CHS manages daily operations and the provision of health and social services to the diverse populations served at the hotel.

Hours of Operation

Time Commitment Flexible, with a minimum of 5 hours per week with preferred ability to meet by video conference at least 2 hours per week during the M – F 9 – 5 hours. We are willing to consider other time commitments or arrangements up to full time status if preferred for the right candidate.
